Tracy Wilcox

As a young child Tracy was fascinated with music, he would spend hours listening to his older siblings’ stacks of 45 singles on a portable record player, music from the 60s and 70s. Rare Earth, The Jackson Five, Bad Finger, Elton John, The Beatles and Chuck Berry were some of the musical artists which would capture Tracy’s imagination, " for me each song was like going on an adventure in my mind”

Tracy began a formal education in music as a Trumpet player, then as a young adult began playing guitar and electric bass. Tracy gain much experience playing in a variety of groups through the 80s and 90s in the South Florida music scene beginning with the short lived Gothic Punk band No Future. Other music groups and musicians of notoriety in the South Florida scene and national stage with which Tracy performed over the years include Mary Karlzen, Omine, Terraplane, and Lyrics For Lunch.

Apart from learning much from his contemporaries, Tracy attributes the most influential persons with whom he studied as being the late great Jazz maestro Vincent Bredice.

Tracy’s venture into acting began when he began to collaborate with Nicolas Wilcox on film projects such as El Sillon and Iberion
